USA Today Toxic Air and America's Schools: http://content.usatoday.com/news/nation/environment/smokestack/index Using the government's most up-to-date model for tracking toxic chemicals, USA TODAY spent eight months examining the impact of industrial pollution on the air outside schools across the nation. The model is a computer simulation that predicts the path of toxic chemicals released by thousands of companies. According to the site, Robert Semple has the national rank of “10th percentile" meaning that 11,962 of 127,809 schools ranked have worse air. This source says that sulfuric acid is responsible for 93% of the overall toxicity outside this school.
